Biggest Loser is…ME!

 So we did our first Biggest Loser weigh in last Monday and I lost 10 pounds last month!!  Wow, baby!  I was really surprised it was that much, especially since all I’ve been doing is watch what I’m eating.  Specifically, I’ve been having oatmeal for breakfast, Triscuits or carrots for a snack, Fiber One for lunch, and then whatever I like for dinner, with a glass of wine.  Apparently it’s working, although I think I’ll probably stabilize this month, since my body has acclimated to the whole fiber infusion thing.

Soooo, the breakdown looks like this:

  • 7 January 2008         223.7 lbs
  • 4 February 2008       213.4 lbs
  • 3 March 2008            ????

    I don’t know if you’re taking recommendations, but I’ve really been enjoying the Healthy Choice cafe steamers. They actually do taste nice and fresh.

    Congrats Terri!!
    Don’t worry about the fiber thing, it keeps on working, I’ve done it (need to do it again actually…but that’s another story)
    I do have a suggestion if you want to add a little extra kick to what you are doing… green tea. I used Arizona brand diet Green Tea with Ginseng. At least 1 glass a day, 2 is better. It really does help 🙂 Those 2 things along with cutting any processed wheat products (100% whole wheat only) and processed sugar and I lost 40 lbs in 6 months.

    Ladies — thanks SO much!! These are great suggestions. My original goal was to lose 15 pounds THIS YEAR…guess I’ll have to see if my downward trend continues when I weigh in at the first of March. Fingers crossed!!
